Only MLB Player To Protest Anthem Gets Arrested On Gun Charges

The NFL has been under fire recently for their players refusing to stand for the National Anthem. For the most part, the protests had remained in the NFL, but on September 23rd, Oakland A’s catcher Bruce Maxwell knelt for the nation’s song. Although that didn’t draw too much attention, people are now paying attention to the fact that Maxwell was arrested Saturday for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He allegedly pointed a gun at a food-delivery driver. The police also charged him with disorderly conduct.

Can somebody say… Karma?
